As with any other insurer, we’ll need your no claims bonus (NCB) proof. This should be in the form of your latest renewal notice or evidence of your last cancelled or lapsed car insurance policy. If there is any gap in cover you need to make us aware, as this may make a difference to the cover we can offer you.
What format can I send you my NCB in?
It is quick and easy to send us your details digitally:
Scan your documents using a desktop scanner
Take pictures of your documents using a digital camera, smartphone or tablet
You can then attach the images to an email and send them over to us.
Alternatively, you can send a copy or scan your documents using the methods below. Where do I send my NCB?
In order to provide proof of your No Claims Bonus (NCB), we need your latest renewal notice or evidence of your last cancelled or lapsed car insurance policy.
The best way to do this is to send us your original renewal notice from your previous insurer as this will allow us to validate your NCB immediately. Please make sure your renewal notice includes the details in the checklist below.
Previous Insurance Name
Previous Insurance Policy Number
Policy Date/Expiry Date
Vehicle Registration Name
Number of Years NCB
Claims history in the last 5 years (if applicable)
(Please note if your previous insurer was Admiral, Bell, Diamond, Elephant , Quote Me Happy, Tesco or Tesco Bank you will have to contact the insurer as they will need to speak to you directly)
If you don't have written proof of No Claims Bonus (NCB) , you can do either of the following:
You can contact your previous insurer directly and ask them to send you proof of NCB.
You can email us at email@example.com with your policy reference number in the subject line. Send us your previous insurance company name, previous insurance policy number, vehicle registration number and your previous address if you have moved within the last 2 years; and we will try to obtain the proof of NCB for you.
(Please note if your previous insurer was Admiral, Bell, Diamond, Elephant or Quote Me Happy, you will have to contact the insurer as they will need to speak to you directly)
You need to make sure any photographic images of No Claims Bonus are clear and show all the information we require. Below are forms of images we cannot accept.

You can only use your No Claims Bonus (NCB) on one policy at a time. If you want to apply your NCB to your new policy, your previous policy must either be cancelled or the NCB removed.
Once you have either cancelled your policy or removed the NCB, your should receive proof from your insurance provider.
