Female Learner Driver Insurance - some tips

Here are some tips to reduce your insurance premiums:-
  • Buy a small engined car in a low insurance category, eg a Corsa, Punto, Ka, Clio, etc. Try and buy a car which is worth at least £ as insurers dont like rust buckets with no safety or security features!
  • Go for small hatchbacks. They are easier to reverse and get into parking spaces.
  • Try not to modify it ! if you really need that bling or set of alloys on your car make sure you tell us so you are covered properly. (See our Modified Cars page)
  • Buy third party fire and theft on your first runaround and when you upgrade it after your first year we have got some magic deals for Comprehensive cover (see our 'types of cover' page)
Look at things like the Pass Plus and IAM driving schemes
