Can I drive other people’s cars or bikes under my own insurance?Firstly, you must have the car or bike owner’s express permission. Depending on your age and the level of policy cover chosen, you may be entitled to drive other cars. If you are eligible, then the level of cover provided is only third party, irrespective of the cover you have chosen under your own policy. Normally if you are under 25 this option will not be available but please contact us if you are unsure. Your certificate of motor insurance will confirm if you have this cover. Can I insure two cars (or combination of cars, bikes and specialist vehicles) at the same time?Yes, we welcome multi-vehicle insurance enquiries and substantial discounts might be available. You will, however, have to take out separate policies for each vehicle. Any ‘no claims discount’ that you have can only be used on one policy at any time. Do you cover temporary use of another vehicle?You may be able to add a vehicle to your policy on a temporary basis but this situation needs to be discussed with our existing business department. Please call us on 0845 073 7420. Will I be insured if I drive abroad?Your insurance policy may include compulsory third-party liability cover to drive within the European Union. Usually there us a limit to the number of consecutive days that cover can be in force for. Your insurance policy booklet will confirm if you have this cover extension. What should I do if I need to make a change to my insurance?If you need to make a change to your insurance, call our Customer Services Department on 0845 073 7410.

Saturday - 9am – 3pm What type of changes do I need to tell you about?You need to inform us of any changes that could impact on your insurance. For example, you should immediately inform us of a change of address, a change of occupation, motoring or non motoring convictions received. Never take a chance on what you perceive is right to disclose. Just drop us an email or contact our office to check just in case.
