Do you offer limited mileage discounts?Yes, our Customer Service Team will be happy to explain the options to you.
What happens if I exceed my mileage limit?You must call our Customer Service department who should be able to increase your mileage limit on your policy. If the mileage can not be increased you may have to cancel the policy and take out a new one, so it’s best to get this agreed up front.
Do you insure young drivers on classic cars?Yes, we are a specialist insurer and one of our areas of expertise is that of insurance for the younger driver. Please see our ‘Young Driver Classics’ page for more details.
What other usage limitations might there be?Most specialist insurance policies for classic cars do not allow vehicles to be used for the commercial transportation of goods or passengers, for racing, or for daily transportation. I own a collection of classic cars – what will this mean to my premiums?Congratulations, we are very envious! If you are a collector and have a stable of classic cars then we would be very interested to talk to you about this. Insurers understand that you can only drive one car at a time. Please call us and we would be happy to discuss the options available to you. What is ‘laid up insurance’?This has a number of meanings. It could be where you have a classic which is a work in progress and which you are restoring. In some cases you might want to suspend all work and garage your car for a period. Some of the specialist underwriters we deal with have ‘laid up’ policies and we would be pleased to run through these with you.
