Crew cab insurance and that for double cabs and other specialised uses can all be covered by Premium Choice and this is another of our specialist areas of insurance.

We define a crew cab as a pick-up with an open back, with otherwise normal specifications except that when it was bought a 'tipper' was requested, for ease of unloading.

Double cabs refer to pick-ups with a second row of seats in the back.

A word about the pick-up insurance you might need


There are many variations and we can help you to ensure you get the right insurance so that you're covered for all your purposes.  Two things you should definitely consider are what types of goods are covered.

'Carriage of Own Goods' is suitable if you only transport your own tools and materials, for example if you're a plumber, builder or decorator.

However, you'll need 'Carriage of Goods for Hire or Reward' if you transport goods for payment - for example if you're a delivery driver of some kind.

Getting this right can make the difference between being covered or not, so it's important not to cut corners here!
