Sponsored Ride Out with Midlands Air Ambulance

On Sunday 25th July 2010, Midlands Air Ambulance are arranging a sponsored 150-mile Ride Out, which will take in some of the best routes around the Midlands, including Shropshire and Staffordshire.

Starting at the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull between 10am and 10.30am, we're asking as many of the Midlands biking community as possible to be called in to action, to help support the Midlands Air Ambulance as well as raise awareness and funding.

Everyone who agrees to take part in the ride out will be asked to give a donation and, in return, they will be given a map showing the route around the Midlands.

   

Many of the accidents we attend involve two wheels. Therefore, we have a close relationship with the biking community. One of our team John Brown, Legacy and Grants Officer, is a keen biker whose life was saved by us after his accident. John is looking forward to getting around as many biker gatherings as possible in the near future to spread the word.
